Christian Ventura’s peaceful disposition comes as no surprise when one discovers the habits of his lifestyle. The idea for Sushi Momo, a sushi restaurant serving primarily vegan and vegetarian friendly fare, came to Christian on a Yoga retreat in Bali. “I think it was something where everything that lingers in the back of your mind comes together. When you relax, you learn to focus on what can be both an opportunity and personal priority.”
Christian saw opportunity from the yoga circles he runs in, where many practice vegan and vegetarian diets out of both taste, disposition and ethical sensibility, something Christian admires, though he is often unable to keep up! “I’m long accustomed to working with fish and meat, so it’s difficult to remain vegan in that circumstance, so I admire it all the more because I seem to lack the discipline required to practice it myself!”
