Olive Pressée Comptoir Dégustatif

Bruno Ranely and Guillaume Bras met while working in the telecom industry in Montreal. Both were looking for a more epicurean line of work, and they found it in a common passion: olive oil. With a taste for the finer things in life, Bruno and Guillaume had trouble finding the high-quality olive oils they both loved. Bruno had seen "olive oil bars" in California and thought the idea might be a hit in Montreal.

They pooled their savings and began to set up shop on Mount Royal Avenue, right across from Compagnons-de-Saint-Laurent Park. Olive Pressée Comptoir Dégustatif opened its doors in October 2013 to offer epicureans — and everyone else — a place where they could discover the wonders of high-quality olive oil.
