Coffee not so good but food was very good and the service was like being waited on by your favourite aunt who is kind but doesn't put up with your foolishness. Good people-watching too. Kind of icky on the inside and down to the powder rooms... eat on the patio if you can.
I have gone to this place for years. (Right from graduating high school to now, when I'm in my thirties with my husband.) Very unique atmosphere, which can be a little scary at first, with its mis-matched culterly, place settings and furnishings. But the food always well-valued and tastes great. There is a wide selection of beers if you go in the evening. Only thing is you have to go early for brunch or they sometimes run out of fruit. And if you go in the evening, sometimes the grill is off. For weekend brunch, I've had their goat cheese stuffed french toast, their bannana bread french toast (both of which I found out today were taken off the menu, so sad), the bay of quinte openface sandwhich with salad and the cowboy breakfast - your basic bacon and eggs. Staff have always been friendly. Their Club Marakesh (sp?) sandwhich is great for a weekday lunch.

Half café, half bar, The Only Café is home to serious list of cider options! Located in the East End, The Only Café has made a name for itself due to the 25 rotating taps. Lucky for cider lovers five of those taps are cider! You’ll find ciders like KW Cider’s Cassis Royale, Small Talk Vineyard’s Shiny Peach and Revel’s Potmanteau II.

They offer an assortment of sandwiches and deli plates alongside a massive selection of craft beer. The Only has been known to host events for local breweries from time to time.
View this Smart ListAptly named, because there’s no other place like it. The Only Café is one part café one part bar, literally. A wall separates the coffee and liquor bars, but customers are free to mill between the two areas via the inner passage. Sit and get some work done in the café, sipping away on their two-dollar bottomless drip coffee, then head next door and unwind with any one of the twenty-four craft beers on tap or the latest cask selection.
