In 1931, Allan M. Wicker started the A. M. Wicker Insurance Company. Allan then partnered with Charles Ivey between 1945 and 1953 and the company name changed to Wicker & Ivey. Barry Wicker, Allan’s son, joined the business in 1963. In 1970, the company changed to its current name, Wicker & Son Insurance Brokers Ltd.
