Many countries around the world offer postpartum support, such as a baby nurse or the traditional lying in period. Families in Canada offer lack a support structure and are left to adjust to the transition that is parenthood. A postpartum embraces these challenges and supports the new family with practical ideas, informational supports such as referenced based articles and referrals. Each family has different needs, so my role will vary. I have a certificate in breastfeeding and a certificate in holistic knowledge through Doula Canada.
