I contracted Bellini to install custom guards for stairs in my house which was being renovated. Although I paid in full, Bellini "forgot" to bring and install a handrail along a set of steps. It is now six months after the original installation of the guards, and Bellini is refusing to complete the installation as contracted. I have discussed this several times by telephone, but he has become belligerent and claims to be "too busy" to complete the work. I believe court is now my only option.
All work was completed for this customer as per the contract and he advised he was happy with the work when it was finished. Some time after he called requesting a 30 inch handrail which was not included in the contract. We told him we would provide the 30 inch handrail at no charge and he could install himself. We called several times to advise it was ready but he never picked it up.
