We had such a great experience with these guys; they were extremely professional, on time, and took the time to make sure we were happy with the service and any questions were answered. We're looking forward to finishing the remainder of our home and using Sunshades to do so!
I had $5000+ worth of window coverings installed in my home about 8-9 months ago
Within the first week, one of the smaller (cheaper) cellular blinds had the string run up into the mechanism. They sent someone to fix it, and it worked fine for a few months.
Then the entire end of the mechanism popped off a few months later. After three weeks of numerous phone calls (me to them) and a visit into the store, the installer came back and "fixed it" again, even though it this point I was wanting the blind replaced with one that was not defective.
Not three weeks later, the end of the mechanism popped off AGAIN rendering the blind inoperable.
Today, when I called in about this (my second call - no response to my first call four days ago) I was been accused of breaking the blind myself and that I had to wait for the to hear back from Hunter Douglas, which for some reason would take another week.
Anyway, at this point I've had it with this business.
I really don't care that much about the $150 blind that keeps breaking, and can afford to replace it using a different company. However, the way they have handled this situation over an obviously defective blind, has ensure that I will never spend a dime there AND I will be spreading the word so that other people can save themselves the headache of dealing with this company.
Window coverings are very expensive, and a hassle when they break. So I suggest you spend your hard earned money elsewhere, unless you want to get the runaround if something happens to go wrong.
