A & S Towing started as a one man show in March 1994. Chris Villeneuve , the owner, was the sole operator with just one tow truck. Chris ran the business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by himself. This towing service was literally a life saver. We were locked out of our car for three hours and the other North bay towing services company failed to do anything to help us but thankfully within 15 minutes of calling A & S towing, a man showed up and unlocked the car for us. The man who saved us was such an amazing man, he was kind, efficient and funny. Thank u A & S we are so thankful for you guys.
called the service through CAA I also filed a complaint through CAA the driver a man named Ben shows up there's a woman in his tow truck and it looked like her head came up off his lap. He was very chatty talked a lot told me that he was on anti-depressants, and that he just got his job back but he reeked like alcohol. I’m from friendly Manitoba and I have never met a nicer group of guys!!! The owner went way above and beyond to help me out knowing that I know no one out here or where to get parts. You guys are seriously a life saver!!!

These people went above and beyond to recover my truck for me this evening. My truck sustained a broken front lower ball joint. The recovery men ensured they got it pnto the tow veh without further damage. Really appreciate there effort.
Broke down at -17°. Assistance was immediate, and first class. Your first call in the North Bay area. 40 years on the road, involved in a lot of situations as such, and never received better service than I did from A & S. Thanks Joe! Thanks Martin.
I was broken down and alone and about 45 mins away from the closest preferred dealer. My husband called A&S towing as they were highly recommended. The Dispatcher Dickson called me to confirm the tow and gave me an ETA. Dan my tow truck driver was so great. He made the drive easy as I have never been towed before. He took me to a Motel and carried my bags to the front desk and safley dropped off our SUV. He texted to confirm the vehicle was dropped off

Worst towing experienced I've ever had. Would never recommend this company unless you want to wait 5 hours because they "couldn't find us" when we gave them specific instructions/details. Ended up giving up and not sending anyone at all. Can you imagine if it was winter? I really did appreciate the phone call from them, blaming us for not giving us the correct details. We told him the road we were on, he knew where it was and still didn't send anyone. Thanks again for leaving us stranded.
