Olympia Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. They are open at night from Monday to Saturday and are readily reachable by car. They are found in an area packed with merchants. Payments by American Express, Interac, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
The tsatziki was fantastic. Both lunches were very good. Salad was large, fresh and tasty. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. Baklava was large enough for 2 to share.
Wow what a buss this place has. First time in Lindsay to go to a comedy show and we were told about this place called the Olympia! we sat in the front the only table available, had Steak and Pasta the food was bang on!! the place was a buzz not a seat open the male server was great know what he is doing, the food was perfect and the buzz was fun. Love to go back and take this all in again next time I'll call for a table they seem to go quick. great place for little Lindsay.

Great atmosphere. Friendly greeting. Bruschetta was good; a bit small for $8.00 though. Mains were fairly good although potatoes tasted dry and cool. Service was a big disappointment. Once we were finished our wine and dinner we waited 15 minutes for the server to approach our table. When he finally did he said 'cheesecake ladies?', no 'how was dinner?, would you like to see the dessert menu? would you like coffee?' When we said we were full he immediately walked away and ignored us for another 10 minutes at which time he brought the bill! Totally arrogant and unprofessional. Due to this, and only slightly average food, I won't be back.
I live in town. The food is good and the place enjoys a good reputation for it. Unfortunately, the waite staff is terrible. There is a tall waiter, I believe related to the owner, who is consistently snooty and condescending. He needs to find something else more suitable to his personality. He is a terrible waiter. The rest of the staff aren't much better except for the owner. If they had any great competition in town, they wouldn't last long. As it is, I will not go there anymore and I will not attend work events upstairs either. There are other places in town where I can enjoy an evening out.
I've been to the Olympia several times, always hoping it will be as good as it's reputation, it never is. The food is mediocre at best! I think everything is cooked from frozen. Everytime I've had a greek salad there it was awful - wilted lettuce(should there even be lettuce in a greek salad?) and tasteless. The decor is okay, a little precious, but at least it looks clean. I've also had the souvlaki, again mediocre at best. I've had a couple of other dishes there, but can't remember what, in other words, not very memorable.
