Mojitos to whisk you away from Toronto to the tropics

The magic of a mojito is in its blend of subtle cane sugar and light rum sweetness, refreshing mint and lime flavours and thirst-quenching soda bubbles. This Cuban drink probably flew under the radar for as long as it did because of the amount of work involved in making it but, now that it’s achieved superstar status, it’s worth finding the best ones in town.

Using molecular gastronomy, the Sailor’s Mojito combines, in their words, 'beach essence, sailor jerry rum, mint, fresh lime, vanilla syrup, mojito ravioli and vanilla air.' That’s right. Vanilla Air. At $25, you can choose whether or not to experience this drink for yourself. They also make a coconut mojito, with coconut milk instead of soda, that is far easier on the wallet and quite tasty as well.
