Originally from Martinique, Marie-Noëlle Fédronie came to Canada in 2010, and in May 2014 she launched Leader d'Elles, a company dedicated to helping women and businesses achieve their professional objectives. “My background is in business administration and international trade. I hold a master’s degree in business administration and a second one in international marketing and management; I wanted to work in those fields because I love travelling and speaking different languages,” explains Marie-Noëlle.
Upon her arrival in Quebec, Marie-Noëlle found it rather difficult to dig up a job in her areas of specialization. "I worked in sales, marketing, and tourism for the Société des attractions et des festivals du Québec. Following some cuts, I was fired, which happened at a strange time because I was in full evaluating mode. I gradually could see that what was really interesting to me involved part communication and part helping others. So I set a goal to become an excellent communicator.”
Marie-Noëlle achieved her goal through neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) training. "It is an important tool, a catalyst for change to reach your objectives and better communicate," she explains. It was after having taken well over 1,000 hours of training that Marie-Noëlle launched Leader d'Elles.
