Amazing food and friendly service. I eat there often and have yet to have a bad experience with the food or service.
I would - and do - recommend Wan's to all co-workers and friends.
This restaurant was bar-none, the worst customer...
This restaurant was bar-none, the worst customer interaction I have ever experienced in take out in my entire life.
The initial ordering was short and rude, often interrupting me as I tried to speak. Then when the price was much higher than I expected, the response was even more ignorant. I declined the order, and went with another takeout place.
However, Wan's sent the food anyways, perhaps not understanding that I declined, though I was clear. I accidentally accepted the food and paid for it, not realizing until to late that it was from Wan's.
This is where the story gets unbelievable. I called up to explain what happened, and the manager hung up the phone on me. In mid sentence. I called FOUR times, and was hung up, in my ear, four times. And, quite unbelievably, I was STILL being polite up to this point. Each time I called back, I would have to talk to someone, who would then give the phone to the manager. Of course it was me... you just hung up the phone in my ear, again.
I have worked in customer relations, and believe me, I have never ever experienced something like this before. Actually hanging up on a customer four times, as he is politely explaining a mistake. I eventually got my money back, and they took their food. I will never even consider this place again. I honestly wish there was a rating below one star for the service. I have no idea about the food, as I would not try it.
