very poor customer service
On a Saturday, I was mislead on the type of parts I would require for my verhicle. I asked the employee behind the counter if they had certain parts for my vehicle and they said that they do not make those parts for my vehicle anymore. I bought some other stuff i needed, then went across the street to the dealership who said they do make those parts for my vehicle. I went to a third store and bought the parts I needed for a fraction of the cost of the dealerships price and also got the other stuff cheaper and more accurate to what I was looking for than I had bought at carquest. I went to return the products I bought at carquest and it was 20 mins to closing and the man behind the counter told me he had cashed out and to come back Monday. I said "you are open for another 20 mins and that i used debit" He then proceeded to tell me to get out of the store and never come back. He did this without provocation and was not a manager. I proceeded to tell him I have no problems not returning as I was mislead the first time and that he was now bullying me to get out for no reason simply because I wanted my money back. I eventually got my refund but I will never return as I was never so embarrassed and have never seen such poor customer service just because it was 20 mins to closing time and the man wanted to go home. I would never report this had I been at fault in some way, but I want others to know what priority customers are on their list and hopefully prevent someone else from being abused this way. Oh and this store closed at 1pm saturdays and is not open sundays - not very accomodating.
