My name is Howard Owens. I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and I've practiced in downtown Bracebridge, Ontario since Fall 2002.Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) employ a unique and comprehensive approach to improving health and treating illness. The primary goal of treatment is to address the cause of disease. The patient is seen as a whole person and the ND takes into account the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions when diagnosing and developing treatment. Dr. Howie Owen is kind and approachable, but what really sets him apart is his vast knowledge base. Howie knows his stuff, stays current with new research, and explains the science behind his advice well. I have seen him for minor wellness checks and to advise on supplements, etc. My son (now age 5) has been treated by Howie since age 2. I couldn't recommend Howie more to anyone seeking a professional, smart, kind ND in Bracebridge.
Howie is informative, funny, proactive and encourages self responsibility with your health. Truly a maestro and the man knows his needles. No one else I trust more with my health than Howie.
