My favorite asian food restaurant in the Quinte Area by far as I am not a big fan of the local buffets. My only wish is that they would serve delicious Pho. The vermicelli dish with spring rolls and grilled pork is a delight. The lemon grass dish is another treat. Wonton soup is hot and yummy. Service is excellent. At times, it can get busy during the lunch rush, I did not have any problems. Take out is just as good. The interior decor is very nice as well. The parking is never a problem in the King George Square.
I continue to be baffled at the rave reviews of Vietnamese in the area. Eating this cuisine frequently I can only assume no one has tried it outside the area. Of the two Vietnamese I've found in Belleville, this one is... well you can have a sit down meal, so marginally better. The food? Bland, disappointing. I ordered beef vermicelli and salad rolls. First strike was the lack of the variety of sauces and chopsticks which normally adorn the table in Vietnamese restaurants. When I asked for some peanut like sauce for the rolls I was handed a packet of soya sauce. The ingredients were not terribly fresh, somewhat oily and overall just tasteless. The salad rolls were also pricy, almost 8$ for two of them which is normally a half order elsewhere and costs about half that. And they're normally a lot tastier.. I've eaten here once before and it wasn't any better. My Dad was in town so I thought we'd try something aside from the usual Pub fare. We both regretted the decision.
The food is good; the vegetable spring roll was ok, the meat spring roll was very good. They have good sized portions and the service is friendly. Good, honest food.
Everything was great, food and service. We've been many times and will continue to go.
Had Spring Roll (#2) and Vietnamese Soup "Hu Tue" (Spelling) (#4) Excellent Meal. Love their Hot Sauce Others had their Famous #9 - Vermicelli, Pork, Peanuts and Spring roll (broken up into bowl)
Probably the best Curry Chicken on rice I've ever had hands down. Service and food were excellent, this is my new number one place to dine.
Compared to the only other Vietnamese restaurant in Belleville this one is second best. The take-out portion of curried chicked was smaller and more expensive. I asked for spicey and got bland. I had to season the dish with salt in order to finish it.
Everything was made fresh and I swear the spring roll is the biggest and best I have ever had. I can't stand restaurants that serve pre-made frozen spring rolls. The spring roll was a meal in itself. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
Although not a japanese restaurant, the food is homemade. Great service, worth the wait because each meal is cooked fresh. We go there for lunch on a weekly basis.
amazing vietnamese food...very fast and friendly service
Food was excellent. Although its not Japanese crusine, it has wonderful Chinese and Vietnamese dishes.
Take out did not have sweet and sour sauce Only one small packette of plum sauce per person Small portions in each dish
