Went there with our 4y.o. son. Service was absolutely great, friendly, fast! Salmon was a vit overcooked but overall experience great. Would highly recommend. Dessert looked better in real than on the picture and was delicious!
Nov. 8/11. Had lunch with friends. We sat down at 1:30pm, so it wasn't busy. The service is (as always) very friendly. The only negative was that we had to ask for coffee re-fills. The food was good and we had a good time. We will go back.
As always, I end up seeing friends or accuaintances at Kelseys.. I have frequented every restatuarnt in Belleville from the hi end to the low end, and Kelseys gives me the best combination of value, freindly service and consistancy... I consider my self somewhat of a self made critic as my mother worked in the restaurant business most of her life... And she too (god rest her soul) dined here and told me after she had a remarkable experience while here... the best she has ever had while dining in Belleville. She also noted that the server recognised the last name on the charge card, and asked if they were related to me... it added such a sweet personal touch, as they are proud of their children, and love to hear other people.. some total strangers.. say nice things about their children... I think any people who dine here and have problems with the service.. should first bring it to the manager/owners attention... right away... and I believ most who have the bad experience...better look at themselves.. they are probably not the most social friendly type of person... Yes.. there are bad servers everywhere... but Kelseys doesn't keep those people employed for long... Way to go Kelseys.. and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS for supporting worht while charities in the Belleville area... you are all awsome people..!!!! (sorry for any typos..)
We went for dinner on Sept. 1, 2011 (6:30pm) and found the restaurant busy but not full and we were seated right away at a nice table.
The server was very attentive and efficient. On leaving the restaurant one of the owner's asked us how meals were. A nice touch that some restaurants do not follow.
The Philly Cheese Steak was tender and enjoyable and the fries were properly cooked.
The wings (medium sauce) were a good size and delicious. The Caesar salad was crisp and not overly soaked with dressing.
We normally would write a 'con' along with the 'pros', however, on this visit there were not any negatives to mention.
We decided to visit Kelseys as I had read they had a new menu. There was a good variety of food with some new additions.....FYI, sometimes you can order items that are not shown on the menu. One of our favorite apps is the onion rings and although they are not shown on the menu, you can get a huge plate perfect for sharing for $7.99. Our server was excellent and knowledgable about the menu...efficient and friendly. I did not smell any funny odours in the restaurant as previous reviewer did nor did we find any of our dishes dirty. Food was very good, good portion sizes and very tasty..we never go away hungry!. Always one of our favorite spots in Belleville.

The atomosphere is very dark and stuffy. It also SMELLED LIKE A -DIRTY MOP- 3 TIMES! ON SEPERATE OCCASIONS!!!
Not only that, but when my boyfriend and I were served our drinks, BOTH GLASSES WERE DIRTY! His had dry food stuck on the mouth of his glass, and mine was just dirty. We notified the server, only to have her bring yet ANOTHER DIRTY GLASS to him with the same problem!
The food was delicious I must say, however, knowing that it wasn't the cleanest kitchen, and the smell of the dirty mop in the air just put a kink in our dining experience.
The prices are so-so, seeing as many places give much more food for their prices...
Having said that, my visit to Kelsey's saddened me because I absolutely LOVE the menu, yet it's not easy to enjoy the food when the place is not upto dining par.

I'd like to return when the smelly mop stench has vanished, and the dishwasher is more adequate doing their job, as well as the natural "eye to detail" can be evident.
Family dinner out and what an overall pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly and polite hostess. Shown to a table right away and had a most courteous and efficient server. She was so friendly, my son just loved her! Our meal was brought to us quickly and no compliants...it was great as always!! Hot, tasty and plentiful. We love Kelsey's, it's our favorite restaurant to dine out as a family. Thanks!
Lovely lunch experience, friendly hostess, attentive, friendly server. We wanted to share our pizza and salad; our server was very helpful by accommodating with extra plates. Our lunch was delicious!! Even one of the managers stopped by to see how we were enjoying our meal....that's a nice touch!

How this bar staffer manages to pull a paycheck is beyond me. She was rude from the get go and was obviously more interested in flirting and hitting on other men at the bar. I have been to some pretty questionable joints in my day, but for a place that charges the amount of $$ they do for a beer, they could at least have soemone working the bar that cares abotu her job and her customers, rather than trying to hit on every guy sitting at the bar. I will never be back nor woudl I ever recommend this place to a friend, or an enemy for that matter.
what was supposed to be a fun night out with a group of good friends was tainted after a visit to this place. The service at the bar is terrible, from ignoring customers to flirting with what I will assume are local regulars to general rudeness top to bottom. The prices are out of this world expensive for a small blue collar town. Needless to say our stay there wasnt long at all, one drink each and with an average price of about 8 bucks I would say they did well to make 80 bucks form us in about the time it takes to drink a beer! Avoid at all costs, unless you like spending a pile of money for a bad time

This place is very busy and really loud. Food was good. Steak was very(!) good but sadly, overcooked. My rare was close to well. Service is rushed. They were so quick to run off from the table, they missed salad and drink orders, then later missed half our dessert orders. We will be back when it is less busy.

Busy and we ended up being seated next to a very noisy party group because it was the only 6 seater available at the time though the manager asked us if it was okay first. Monday so kids eat free which was great! While we were waiting for our meal, manager brought over complimentary spinach cheese dip and wings as a way to say sorry for the noise level and wait. Free soft drink refills for everyone which is norm. My soup was really hot as was the tortillas which were sizzling. No one could finish their meal there was so much food so they gave us doggie bags. A great experience!

It's exactly what you should expect from a chain pub. The food is pretty good, most likely prepackaged stuff they re-heat, but it fills you up.
The drinks are overpriced but obviously they do that to avoid over drinking there.
The wait staff was friendly. I'd rather have a server who didn't speak from a script though. The manager seemed to have a pickle in an orifice
The food wasn't too bad but the server was horrible! All she did was talk about herself and flirt with me and my husband by the end of the meal she had slipped us her phone number which said call for extra service. I was apolled and will never return to this establishment. She was tall and blonde. I think she would be better off working at a bar!

I was visiting this establishment for a relaxing lunch with my partner. We were finally served drinks after waiting 15 minutes from the bartender (our server for the duration). She left us with our menus for another 15 minutes. We finally ordered and had to wait 32 minutes for two hamburgers. We were told by two servers that we should have had our meal within 10 to fifteen minutes. Our fries were cold! My husbands plate was dirty! We weren't offered another drink until we were done eating and ready to leave. I will not return, mainly due to the dirty dish.

The fish and chips was awful. It was 90% batter and 10% fish. The fish had little or no taste because it was overcooked. The service in the bar area was plain slow. It took almost 30 minutes to get this simple dinner. It was definitely not worth the money.
