Try heavenly hot chocolate in Halifax
The Nook is a fine spot to go with friends or your favourite laptop. There are little "nooks" along one wall where you can sit on pillows and close a curtain to enjoy your hot chocolate in cozy privacy. Or why not sit at the window and watch the vibrant life on Gottingen go past? The hot chocolate here comes piping hot, milky and chocolatey. It's a wonderful recent addition to the Gottingen scene.

Coffee, tea, food, intoxicants - that’s The Nook! This is a cozy little spot on Gottingen Street with various seating options, including several “nooks,” where you can sit with a group of friends. A great place to work or to socialize, The Nook has Propeller beer on tap and Laughing Whale coffee on drip. There are also hot and cold cocktails, teas and “potions.” Whether you are detoxing, have the flu or a hangover, there is a potion for you. The menu has a range of sandwiches, salads and snacks (nachos!) with lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

This place is just as it sounds – a little cozy spot with seats in all the nooks. They have a great selection of coffees and teas, and better yet, a tasty menu with both vegan and vegetarian options. If you want to have the lunch sandwiches though, be sure to go after 11 when they change over the menu.
