    DO NOT use mainline plumbing for switching out your poly b to pex piping! They did our place and quoted 2300 to do the job. Once complete that bill turned into 4500. The work they did was terrible!!! They hacked out holes in the roof and walls with no consideration of having to fix the drywall. We got a quote of 500 extra from our drywall company to cut all of the holes back to square for proper repair. Mainlines response to this was to bad we can’t follow all of our guys around.

    Our hot water tank gave out and flooded our basement over the weekend. The first appointment wasn’t until Tuesday but mainline assured me that they would get the work done on Monday and make sure we had hot water. Not only did the techs stay super late on a Monday night to make it happen, Mainlines price was $200 cheaper than their competition. I will not hesitate to recommend Mainline. Prompt service and fair price!

    We purchased a house. Before possession the pipes froze & burst. Mainline was hired by previous owner to fix all the broken pipes (just a few days before we took possession). We were given guarantee that all pipes had been repaired & was given a copy of receipt saying they guaranteed their work for 30 days. 10 days later discovered a bin had been hidden above drywalled ceiling to capture leak. In 10 days more than a gallon leaked. Mainline says not their problem & won’t warranty!! Be warned!

    Fireplace fix-turned-into-replacement job. Attentive service from the office; worked hard to deal with problem quickly; competent, polite and tidy work onsite.

    Extreme lack of communication, did not know when they were going to show up, too much of a hurry to do a quality job, they may have been better if they were by the hour and not the contract, quality of workmanship not to my standard, I would certainly not hire this contractor again.

    We have used Mainline Plumbing and Heating for years. Nothing but the best service. Came out today to check pump on septic tanks. Tanks full . Connectors were corroded. Cleaned them up and back to working. Ryan was great. Cant say enough about their service for furnaces and this issue. Highly recommend them.

    Our furnace quit late last spring and we had it fully serviced by a mainline technician. It quit on us late a few weeks ago and couldn’t afford the $200+ for them to just show up and look at it. We were referred to another private contractor and were sickened by what he cleaned from our furnace. It was clear the job was not done correctly the first time and most likely caused our furnace to fail again...

    In 2012, I did have an awesome experience with the mainline plumbing and heating, who installed our furnace that I supplied. The reason why I am giving a 3 star instead of 5 star is that I ask for another quote to install a furnace that I am supplying and the price of the installation had gone up 50% since 2012 from $1200 to $2500 for an 8 hour job.WOW!Yet another company in PG quoted me around $1200 mark. This is a loss of business, as I will go to a business that is more reasonable with prices

    lack of communica...

    lack of communication by the people that did the work, not the receptionist. Days would go by and I wouldn't hear of the result at the cabin. Twice I went out to check and it wasn't done, when I hopefully thought it was. When I complained, I never received a call from the plumber or the owner (and a plumber). I felt in the dark and treated shabbily. I have been a loyal customer. I am extremely disappointed.
