Meet the owner

Generally speaking, managing financial statements, tax planning and bookkeeping are not tasks that are typically synonymous with fun, at least not for the majority of us. However, Coquitlam's Sharon Perry, CPA, CA is not your typical Chartered Professional Accountant, and her ability to incorporate a slice of fun into her business is evident in her affable demeanour. Not to mention her company descriptor: A boutique accounting firm with bad-ass results.

Sharon believes there's no point in doing something if it's not fun. "I receive a lot of comments that there's no interaction or personality with accountants, or personal sharing," she says. "Accounting and tax is satisfying and enjoyable to me, and by making it fun, it's less stressful for people."
