It was a family decision to create Taste of Ukraine to share the rich Ukrainian heritage that we grew up with and learned to nurture and love. Food is a central component of the Ukrainian experience. Ukrainian hospitality revolves around good food and plenty of it.

3 nalysnyky(crepes) rolled into one with sour cherry, cheese, and poppy seed fillings. Lightly pan fried in butter. Served with ice cream. Our own creation ~ available only at Taste of Ukraine.
Lemon Poppy Seed Cake

Strawberry Nalysnyk`
A fine crepe is rolled around generous scoops of vanilla ice cream and strawberries then garnished with whipped cream and topped with more strawberry sauce.
Chocolate Nalysnyk
Rich dark chocolate covers the entire crepe. Next, the vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Then it’s all rolled up and topped with a little more chocolate sauce. The finishing touch: whipped cream and toasted almonds
Sour Cherry Varenyky (Perogies)
A little bit tart, a little bit sweet and very delicious. Sprinkled with sugar and a raspberry drizzle. Garnished with whipped cream. Also available with ice cream.
Apple Mlyntsi
A pair of home made crepes filled with home grown baked apples. Flash fried on a buttered pan to finish them off ~ a dusting of cinnamon, a little ice cream, a drizzle of caramel and –enjoy!

This establishment is good quality food, good service and a authentic feel. The pork and cabbage rolls are to die for. I highy recommend this resteraurt! I am glad they opened one here in St. Albert. The prices are very affordable even low compared to the portions of food you received. Me and my wife had a great time. The servers didn't bother us, every two minutes like commercial resteraunt chain. Deals in the menu give you the opportunity to mix up you dishes to your desired, this is a can't miss for a Ukrainian experience.
