Goro & Gun welcomes you to their dining room. They are open nightly from Monday to Saturday and are conveniently accessible by public transit but also by bicycle and car. Come visit them in a surrounding recognized as lively.
Ramen and Japanese bar snacks are the perfect post-work drink pairing at this cool and casual downtown Japanese restaurant. On the second floor of Scotia Centre, Goro’s weeknight happy hour runs from 3 pm to 6 pm. Snacks include sushi, tempura and edamame with beer, wine, sake and cocktails as accompaniment.
Goro and Gun is known for its slurp-worthy ramen bowls and Japanese-inspired happy-hour cocktails, but the Scotia Centre restaurant also does a tasty bento box from 11 am through 3 pm. Choose from harami beef, free-run chicken, mushroom tempura or sashimi; each comes with two pieces of lobster California roll, fresh greens, steamed rice, kimchi and miso soup.
At the top of the escalators on the Plus 15 level of Scotia Centre opposite a wedge-shaped Starbucks café, Goro + Gun serves the downtown’s best ramen bowls. Naturally, the place is busy at lunchtime, so reservations are recommended. Bestselling bowls include miso ramen with sliced pork belly, the inventively delicious spicy-lamb ramen and the refreshing spicy, cold seafood ramen. Also try a beef, chicken or mushroom bento-box, all of which include lobster-California roll pieces.
