The scariest day of the year is upon us soon – Halloween! When the little ghosts, goblins and ghouls come to your door to extort candy from you on Halloween night, who better to greet them than a spooky Jack O’Lantern? The first step is getting the pumpkin to carve, and lucky for you, there are plenty of farms in the Greater Toronto Area where you can pick your own. And you don’t have to stop at one; you can get more of the big orange beasts for pumpkin pie, bread, cookies, cakes and more. (Just be prepared for disappointment if you’re going to wait around for the Great Pumpkin to arrive!). [Photo credit: iStock]
