Imagine a "foodie" visiting a grill for an exciting new food experience.. A Western Sandwich. (Cost $4.50) Imagine the "foodie" waiting 40 minutes for that Western Sandwich with a parched throat because of no coffee refill. But still, "foodie" gives the sandwich a 3. Let me say this: No one has ever waied 49 minutes for a Western Sandwich at the Mosely Street Grill, or has waited 40 minutes for a coffee refill, at least since the new owners took over. Wouldn;t it be great for the new owners if their servers were run off their feet and their cooks were so busy that it took 40 minutes to get a Western Sandwich out of the kitchen. Soon folks like the "foodie" will need a reservation. Or just a nice lie?
Enjoyed the homey atmosphere. Food was received very quickly and hot and refills on coffee were offered a few times. Was passing through Wasaga Beach but definitely would go back, Thoroughly enjoyable.
Went for Lunch, 40 min to get 2 Toasted western sandwiches with fires. Not rocket science. No coffee or tea refill offered until lunch was done. New owner lady was to busy socializing with friends than to give the only other server a real hand. This new boss lady would rather chat then hep serve a customer. She actually went and sat down with friends while the other girl was running her Butt off. Good luck new owners you are going to need it! The service industry may not be your thing. Especially after telling me we are really trying after sitting down with your friends at a table.
It will be tougher going now that George has retired. The food is always great, the service is quick, and the coffee is hot! What more can you say about a breakfast spot!!
we go to "the Grill" regularly. Although not an upscale type of place, it is frequented by locals, which is enough for us. The food is tasty: The restaurant is clean: The YOUNG servers are very pleasant however it is very difficult to get another cup of coffee out of the owner's wife. I've based the 2 star service on this. Although not open for dinner, Friday night is an exception and we hear that the fish and chips are very good. We plan to try them next.
We had breakfast there 'once' and that was enough for us. This is your typical greasy spoon with not much going for it. The food was mediocre, the coffee was terrible and the ambiance was like that of a cafeteria. There was hardly any taste to the thin strips of bacon and the eggs were cooked hard when we asked for easy over. The toast was way too dark for us. This restaurant has weird hours as it's not open all day. We wouldn't spend time or money to return to this place.
It was soooo noisy and overcrowded. Nobody was getting fed. Too many people sitting at small tables and waitresses seemed to be flustered. Food was so so. I can do better at home.
I love this place. In fact, I lovingly refer to it as George's. Best service and awesome food, great prices as well. It's true...visit just once and you'll become a regular!!
This is the best restaraunt in wasaga beach I've been going there since they opened 10 years ago. george and diane are the owners and they are very nice and friendly. If you eat here I guarantee you'll become a regular to.
