We got seated at approx 1210 PM and did not leave until 1:25 PM. The only way to describe the waitress was a loud whirling dervish. She told me the special of the day, did not say it came with soup and salad so I thought for lunch, all it was, was a wrap which I ordered. She brought the soup and I declined as I did not think I had ordered it. The wrap and very small caesar salad was good. When the bill came it was 19.95 and I questioned it as only to have her tell me that that was the stan
When I need to take someone out for dinner, or a large lunch, this is my go-to resteraunt. I have always enjoyed the service, the food is great, the owner greats you with a smile, and your server might seem a little overworked, but she will get to you!
The worst meal I've ever put in my mouth! I never thought I would ever leave food that I was paying for on my plate. The salad tasted as though it was made the night before and sat in the fridge all night. It was a mushy mess. My sandwich tasted like fish. My starter soup tasted like a bowl of salt. LET SAY GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! Nasty....I've never felt like more of a fool for paying for that sad excuse for food. If I could I would give this place no STARS. I would also give the advice to anyone who works there to get a new job. You will never make any tips in a place like that.
had breakfast with our son from out of town. first time for breakfast. not a good experience. bacon was overdone. potatoes were cold and the toast was cold and dry. not happy for the amount of money we paid.
The food here is delicious and the servings are huge! My boyfriend and I eat here frequently and always take his family when they come up to visit. The service is excellent and the owner, Christine, is so nice. We love the coconut cream pie and the Sunday brunch. The soup of the day is always home made and sooo good! I have had lots of different items of the menu and it is always good!
Haven't been here for about a year. After receiving our fried eggs undercooked a few times, I ordered scrambled. They were grey in colour and tasted as if done on a skillet that had previously fried fish. The eggs were inedible. The Server did not have the tenacity to even question why they had not been eaten. Not enough staff on during the morning rush so asking for seconds of coffee results in a guilt trip on my part.
Another breakfast review with two thumbs up. Staff is attentive and the food is delicious and served in very large potions; enough to take home a doggy -bag for the next day too. It's very casual, and I've never seen it busy any of the dozen or so times we've dropped in. The owner is very personable and her husband is the cook. This is one of our stops when we're travelling through the "Beach".
We went here twice, once with our daughter and again just my husband and I. Our daughter ordered potato skins, which she orders at most restaurants. She could not eat them, she said they tasted as though they had been in the freezer for ten years or more. Our toasted westerns were served in burnt toast. The egg mixture itself was also burnt. We tried it again months later and ordered the roast beef. It was so tough neither of us could cut it. We left 80% of the food on our plates. I don't think we'll try this place again. The food is not very good here.
My boyfriend, his parents and myself always end up here when we go out for dinner. I have tried many things on the menu.. all great, but my fav is the chick parm. 2 fair sizes chickn breast served with sauce on pasta with veggies on the side. If you love cheeeesssyy garlic bread, they have all the cheese you could want, very family oriented it seems. mother likes to greet people, looks like husband and son(s) cook in the kitchen and othe familys wait on tables.. all very very freindly!! Try it, you'll agree!
we have just moved to wasaga beach and found this little gem by word of mouth from some of the locals.. the portions are bountiful and taste very good. i tried my husbands prime rib it was fantastic and gave any roast beef house a run for the money. the service was very good..the restaurant decor is not fancy but do they get the job done. the manager/owner Christina was wonderful..she treats all of her guests like family and makes sure everything is perfect for each table. we have brought guests for brunch and they returned 3 times on the july 1 long weekend while they were visiting....WELL DONE EVERYONE AT THIS RESTAURANT.. give this one a try
