Designed to verify the integrity of the weld, when installed by a skilled technician the patented Dufort Test Plug tests not only the weld, but the whole component as required by TSSA. The environmentally friendly procedure has been adapted for hydrostatic testing on weld-neck, socket weld, and slip on flanges, welded unions, boiler and exchanger tubes, nozzles, valves, and Lokring fittings. The Dufort Isolation Plug is used as an additional safety precaution to ensure a safe working environment when hot work is being performed on a line that is not entirely free of gases.
