Whirlpool Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. This establishment offers hamburgers for 11$ to 25$. Come enjoy their casual ambiance. They provide private rooms. You can get there not only by car but also by public transit. Payments by MasterCard, American Express and Visa are recognized.
We had to seat ourselves and it took at least 15 minutes to get a menu. This was not looking good! We perused the menu and decided what we wanted. It wasn't that busy and there was ample staff on hand. Unfortunately, this staff was busy talking with each other or customers, to actually "wait" on tables. Finally, after about 1hour ( maybe 45 minutes), we left. We didn't even get water. What terrible, and I use this term loosely, service. And guess what? We live here!
I like this restaurant. Unfortunately, the managers have decided it should only only be open during warmer months. This restaurant is so close to downtown Niagara Falls, and the north end of Niagara Falls. Many locals use the route between Victoria Ave and Whirlpool road daily. This restaurant should do more to appeal to local residents on a year round basis. What a waste keeping it shut down. I deducted points for not keeping it open in "overall".
