Last month (August 2019) I ordered a few yards of 3/4 stone for a drainage problem. When the order arrived it was perhaps about 25% 3/4 stone with the rest of the material being much smaller. Obviously not idea for a drainage ditch.
When I spoke with them, they passed the buck and told me that it was a problem with the quarry and that they could do nothing. Apparently, if you are just a small customer, there is no respect. Perhaps the big contractors are treated better as they have leverage.
