Fast, efficient and honest are just a few words I would use to describe Doug. On the coldest day of the year with a high of -25C when my furnace decided to fail so I called Doug. Best decision! He had me up and running within a couple hours, was thorough with his explanation for what went wrong and was very fair with his pricing. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend him to others.

We had been away all weekend and we came home late on a Sunday night to a very cold house. We tried to get the furnace to start but it just wouldn't. We didn't know what to do so we called our neighbour who recommended Doug Scott who had been their serviceman for years. We gave Doug a call and he was there within the hour. He changed a part and in no time the heat was back on and we could finally sleep in warmth. What a relief! Thank you Doug! We know who to call right away next time.
Doug is very reliable and honest. he does the servicing for my residence and my 2 rental properties. i have actually given his cell number to both my tenants to call him directly in case of emergency. Its always been a hassle dealing with other heating companies until i used Doug scott. . I have referred him to many of my friends .
Paid $468 to have this dryer vent installed. The wall behind the dryer is an opening under the stair. Instead of running the vent line behind the wall this is what we got! When I asked him to come back and fix the problem he refused. Stay away from this contractor. At $75 per hour for labor you think you would get a professional job??

Mr Jarhead is an American who doesnt even live at the site. The charge was $400 plus tax and he was outraged that I charged him 13% sales tax and wanted me to cover that cost (I should have left right then) I said I have no control over that. I also had to rent a $150 plus tax drill and bit to drill through the solid concrete wall and other materials. Routing of the vent was never discussed. This is a gas dryer and is subject to code restrictions. The way Mr Jarhead wanted me to run it (after the fact) would make the vent too long which was the problem with the original vent. When I tried this to explain to Mr Jarhead and reminded him that I have the gas licence and not him he went on a profanity laced rageaholic tirade over the phone which I would not deal with. I told him I would speak to his daughter (the owner of the house) over the phone to try and resolve this but she has never to this day called me back. I will not deal with him again. Doug
