My husband and i both had a quarter chicken dinner. The meat was so dried out it was hard to cut. It tasted old so would not be surprised if it had been lying around a few days. Also five types of pies were on the menu but all they had available was coconut cream. Complained to the manager but did not feel he was too concerned. Apparently this location is not a corporate restaurant so i guess anything goes. We love the bayfield location and have never had a bad meal there.
We are writing this review with hopes that a manager will be reading it. We have visited this location twice in the past few months and both times we have received very slow, very demeaning service. As a young couple we felt as though we weren't being taken seriously. We ordered ice water with lemon and they gave us warm water with no lemon, no utensils when the dinner was on the table, no napkins, the chicken was extra fatty and slimy. Fix these issues, or we will never return. Dirty place!
Ordered through the drive through and waited 20 minutes. When we got home the fries were mushy and dark. Old oil or something. And the chicken was raw. My son and I got so sick. Never eating here again.
First of all, we were sat at a table next to a table full of workers. i do not know if these employees of swiss chalet were having a meeting, but it was annoying. They were talking about there night the night before, and actually changing at the table. i watched one waitress take her shoes off, change her socks and put different shoes on. I do not need to smell feet while i am eating. Food was alright i guess. Service was not good. Very unprofessional. Will not return.
