One of my favorites. Excellent brunch.

One of my favorite restaurants in Barrie. We've been here many times for many special occasions. We always enjoy the food and experience every time we go. Today we tried his brunch menu and it was really good as well. We had the Eggs Benny and Breakfast Poutine, along with a side of the homemade onion and apple sausages. Delicious. Now if all brunch tasted like that I'd eat brunch a lot more often.

We've enjoyed the fine cuisine at Michael and Marion's/ The Side Door for many years. Today we sampled their new Sunday brunch menu, which boasts new twists on timeless favourites. Eggs Benny on white cheddar scones is simply wonderful and the breakfast poutine is perfect. Mimosas made with fresh squeezed orange juice? Yes, please! The home fries are in a category by themselves. Excellent service, light jazz playing in the background = a delicious brunch. Bravo!
